This is an audio slideshow I worked on for a little more than a month with a woman named Patricia Bloodworth-Neville whom I met when I was in Bastrop Co., TX on Labor Day photographing the wildfires that swept through the county. I photographed Patricia as she watched her neighborhood burn, as she was with her family in a hotel after evacuating the neighborhood, when she went back to her home (which was untouched by the fires) and when she went through her neighbors’ homes that had been burned.
